Adam Krauthamer, French Horn
Adam moved to Manhattan after completing his master’s degree in 2006 at the Yale School of Music, where he had studied with William Purvis. In New York, he is pursuing an active freelance career and can be found playing in a number of groups, performing a wide variety of music, from Broadway shows to chamber music. Adam often travels to Philadelphia, where he plays principal horn in the Philly Pops and subs in The Philadelphia Orchestra. His connection to the Philadelphia music scene stems back to 1999, when he was accepted into The Curtis Institute of Music, where he studied with both Myron Bloom and Jerome Ashby.
Adam has also performed with the Radio City Music Hall Orchestra and “Shrek the Musical” on Broadway.
